In addition to that, I will be putting a ton of cosplay stuff and wigs on sale very soon! So if you need stuff for Otakon, we can bring it with us and you can pay us there and save on shipping! Hopefully that post will be up by tonight.

Realized I haven't posted ANYTHING of meaning recently (not that I ever did before!) and felt like saying hi :B

Juli and I have been working NON-STOP since before Anime Boston~ Lots and lots of sewing, cons, sewing, photoshoots, networking and spending some time with friends whenever we can. (and did I mention sewing?) All very good times. Will go into detail if I can get a minute to myself sometime!

Juli is probably gonna be wearing parts of my new Miwako costume (Which looks like this!) And I'll be cosplaying Corpus Crusade Tour! Blind Mag. She's not completely done yet because my new fan hasn't come in yet, but whatever. I figure I'll go promote Repo! and get to wear a pretty dress.

ALSO, I am so proud cuz I just dyed/semi-styled knightvision's Spike wig and it looks so good!
(Level up! Alex feels slightly stronger now! *A*)

AND AND AND the Sakura Matsuri media day with people on Tuesday was AMAZING and I love making new friends ;3; Also, SnapM UP! was SO MUCH FUN LAST NIGHT. Pics soon, I hope!

Yes, much to all of your dismay, I am still alive! :[ Sorry.

I have just literally been too busy with schoolwork to actually post. Yeah, I kinda do my homework and shit now. It's sorta cool.

SOOOOOO it's Juli and my birthday on Friday! AND WE STILL HAVE NO PLANS. Does anyone have any ideas? And we would love to see all of you.

We've just been so busy, we haven't really thought or planned a thing. It's lame :[ Our birthday was totally snubbed last year because we were down in Maryland at the time spending time with our Aunt Joyce just before she died. Most of our relatives forgot it was our birthday. Hell, even Juli and I kinda forgot it was our birthday. But for good reason of course. So it would be really nice to get to see some of you on or around our birthday! We don't really want any presents (unless it's an ebay gift card XD!) just getting to spend time with you here or at an upcoming convention or whatever would be just fine. :] Unless you just HAVE to get us something, right? ;D But in all seriousness. WANNA SEE PEOPLE! If someone wanted to show me good places to fabric shop (not even BUY me fabric) in the city, that would also be great, and a wonderful present :D Cuz I am a noob when it comes to getting around the city/fabric shopping there.

Life has been so busy, and mostly wonderful! I have the best friends and have been very fortunate to have all of them. Just letting you guys know that~ :]

Only two hours left before I get to go to the airport and pick John up. Yay. ♥ 2 months is a long fucking time to be this far.

I will post about the past cons/weekends soon! I've just been so busy. I have a really big picture post coming up to! Just cuz I haven't had one of those for a while!

NYCC Report + Life + SOMEONE FORCE ME TO PICK WHAT I AM WEARING TO KATSU + Valentine plz

NYCC :D My favoritest of all cons! Let's seeee, nothing terribly interesting happened! But I will recap the few things that did. Follow the cut!

Friday:

Woke up! Worked on getting into Blind Mag for HOURS. My hair didn't look right. It lost it's poof immediately. Baawww. My makeup+contacts+eyelashes looking fucking AWESOME THOUGH *A* Soooo so happy with that. And the costume just looked generally good :3 The costume was surprisingly easy and quick to get into, compared to all the work that went into my fail-hair XD I considered NYCC to just be a test-run for Mag anyway, so I am very pleased with how it went! Yay~ Juli hopped into Amber Sweet fairly quickly and we helped our friend Jake into his Pavi stuff :] The mask stuck too low on his face XD But EH for a test run of all these costumes, can't really complain.

We got to the con about 2 hours later than expected, unfortunately! So we basically had a photoshoot and then wandered around the con for less than an hour before everything closed. We barely got to see anyone D: Laaaame. We had a couple of extremely enthusiastic Repo! fans recognize us so that made everything worth it in the end! We got approached by the moderator of the official Repo! myspace so that was awesome :D He took our pics and such as well, apparently to show Darren (Director of Repo) *A*

After that we just hung out with Laura/sashyasavvy, Wolfie and Ollie/saber_rider until they started shutting off all the lights in the convention center lol. After that we went home, and went the fuck to the diner which was so delicious *A*

Ollie stayed over which was wonderful :D We watched MANswers and did other manly things all night.

Saturday:

WOOOO crazy comic costume day. I wore Harley and Juli wore Black Cat. I had multiple makeup malfunctions cuz I am a fuck up who doesn't know how to use AquaColor correctly! So I had to resort to using my Mehron. Which looked great, it's just so BLARRRRRG. So yeaaaah, we got to the con around 3. I don't remember much of Saturday other than HIIIII I KNOW/LOVE YOU. GIVE ME A HUG! OH GOD THE FANBOYS ARE SURROUNDING US RUNNNN. So yes, Juli and I mostly just saw little bits of a lot of people~

We couldn't really go anywhere cuz we were stopped for pics just about every two feet XD I love comic book fans. They are so appreciative of cosplayers. Seeing all the enthusiastic smiles on people approaching us was really amazing. It reminded me why I spent hours getting ready that day. I love making the fans happy so much! *bursting with looooove*

Uuuuh then I remember hot dogs. And running into the exhibition center for like 10 minutes. And getting filmed for MTV.

Then we hung out with Miriam/aikei_chan, Laura (my beloved Baconface), Wolfie, Corey and Ollie~ We got some pics and a video of us all dancing with our shiny butts! Then Ollie took some pics of us. Then we took some pics with Keith. Then we hung out with Jesse and Adam and Soniiii and AJ. Then we went hooooooooome. And ate lots of spaghetti :D

Sunday:

No con ;3; Just taking Ollie to the train station. He is the biggest sweetheart and got us both Valentines Day chocolates. I love him! :3 ♥

WOAH I DID A CON REPORT.

Today has been filled with ups and downs. Had to go to the memorial service of a family friend who died. A lot of crying went on. I am slightly depressed. Death hangs in the air. God, this should have never happened to Hopie. Her husband was so wonderful.

But some really awesome stuff went on today to counteract the sads!

TODAY IS A DAY THAT I LOVE THE INTERNET.

First off, I have been talking to Alex Kavanagh on Facebook. For those of you who don't know her, she designed all the costumes for Repo! *A* She has been complimenting us on our Repo! costumes, going so far as to say that my Mag costume seemed better constructed than hers XD Basically, we just got approval from the woman who made all the costumes in Repo. I am floored and amazed and FUCK it feels so good to know that she thought we did a great job. So basically I don't care what anyone else says about our costumes :] I could not be happier. ♥ (She also designs and creates costumes with her sister. That's so coool ;;)

Second, Juli and I are the default picture of the official Repo! myspace! And that's pretty awesome too. The guy who took our pics at NYCC just threw it up there! :D He contacted us and requested more pics to put up, so hopefully those'll be up soon too. We're hoping to meet Terrence Zdunitch at Wicked Faire so getting up on the myspace for his creation should put us in good standing, I think XD

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY. I LOVE REPO SO MUCH ;___;/~♥

Rawr. I think I will post pics and stuff in another post. Maybe tomorrow. FFFFFFFUUUUUCK I have so much homework to do.

THIS IS WHAT I DID YESTERDAY 8D Seeing as quite a few people have asked me for progress pics so far on Pavi from Repo!

HOW HOT AM I?! I AM A BEAUTIFUL CREAM PIE. YOU MUST EAT ME. EAT EAT EAT.

Dear Jesus. What a trip. We had trouble with the plaster setting too quickly before we could cover my face. Which resulted in us having to mix 3 and a half batches of the plaster. It's totally weird feeling. Make sure that if you do make a cast of your face like this, that you have enough Vaseline on your face first or it will be painful taking it off. And it certainly helps if you have a bunch of friends to help XD I had Juli and two of our other friends helping to make sure everything was coated evenly and everything.

Now it's just time to wait for the latex to come in the mail so we can make the mask!

Oh, and KATSUCON GOERS! Apparently Juli and I are forbidden from making any more new costumes. Parents claim that we "have enough costumes". -_-;

So would any of you guys going to Katsucon like to see us in any particular costumes?

We're really clueless on what to do since we're kind of free agents at this point lol.

I'm starting to think that I fucking hate Katsucon. It has never really been a good con to me. Something shitty always happens or in this case, I have nothing really new to show for it. I AM PANICING BEFORE KATSUCON OMGGGG IT'S SO SOON KILL MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. We have yet to start our Beatmania costumes and omg I am just stressing about everything omggg lsjflajsdfljalsfjalsjdflads HALP.

First off, I really need a new pleated skirt pattern. I HATE the one I use. It makes super awkward pleats. I am really looking for thin, knife pleats. So if anyone can suggest something, that would be wonderful.

Nextlyyy~ Does anyone have a dark brown wig I could borrow/buy from them? It looks like this. I am pressed for ~~money~~ time and if I could help out one of you by buying it, all the better. But I really am looking to just borrow for NYCC/Katsu. FOUND ONE 8D I totally had one with my other wigs. Requires some styling but OMG I AM SO HAPPY.

Anyone here who makes jewelry/crafty things. How would you suggest I make these rings? It's the ONLY part of my Blind Mag costume I don't have. And it's kind of important. Makes me sad. I am willing to commission them.

Does anyone here have experience with plaster of paris? More specifically, making a mold of someone's face with it? Yeah. I am making a mask of my face for the lovely Pavi here on the right. I already have the mask latex and paints so that's taken care of.

Yeah, I changed my username, AGAIN. I am a cruel and fickle mistress.

I wasn't too crazy about my old one anymore. But I really love this one and I'm pretty damn sure I'll be ok with it for a long time. If not, EHHHH. I'll change it again.

I just love Sarah Brightman's character in Repo! so much, and I'm really happy to give tribute to that, even if it's in a stupid way like having it be my online blog's username.

Please excuse my intense fangirling here. I just like to share my obsessions with my friends 83 Feel free to skip this cuz it's LONG, but you'll be missing something awesome XD

Ok, we need to talk about how much I love this movie. Oh god, it's wonderful. Juli and I have watched it at least 7 or more times. We've lost track already.

I am so happy that our generation sort of has it's own Rocky Horror. Shadow Casts are already forming as well as a Repo! convention~ This is a rock opera that I will be proud to share with my children!

I am in love with the characters, music and just everything about it. God, I'm obsessed. XD

Repo! really is a cult hit already, but of course with cult movies, they don't do fabulously in the box office. The movie had an EXTREMELY small release. So if you enjoy the music or are interested in seeing it, PLEASE buy the soundtrack or movie off of iTunes or here on Amazon. Same goes for the movie!

Repo! was released a few days ago on DVD and Blu Ray, BOTH of which cost under $20 each.

So do yourself a favor and buy it :] General movie stores have it as well as Hot Topic and Borders. Or at the very least go rent it at Blockbuster or from Netflix! Both carry it :] Give it a try! You won't regret it~

But if you're REALLY pressed for money and desperately want to take part in the Repo! goodness, I have both the soundtrack and movie. Come over and watch it with Juli and I if you live close~ Orrrr I can send them to you. I just cannot stress enough how much I support buying the movie and soundtrack. We need to keep the Repo! craze going! And feel free to link other people to this post/copypasta.

I think I can honestly say this movie changed my life a bit :] I might also change my LJ username to Blind_Mag. I love her character so much. I think I could live with that username for a long time. Just a thought though.

Last Monday Juli and I went for a photoshoot for Rick Price. About a week later he showed me this! It's on display now at a tattoo parlor 83 He's doing more paintings toooooo. God, he oozes talent. I adore him a lot. And we'll be having more photoshoots soon as well! I'm thrilled. ♥

I have so much to write about! It's been forever since I'm made any updates but I've just been so busy. The week with John I had was amazing. ♥ I also have months worth of photos to post. :d And I need to post some music for you lovelies as well. Rawr. So much to do.

PHOTOBUCKET HAS SO MANY RIDICULOUS THINGS TO PUT ON YOUR PICS OMG SO MUCH FUN

Yeaaah. Didn't feel much like Christmas without our Aunt Joyce.

But really cool things happened! Family + John tricked me AGAIN. Mom went to "pick up Uncle Jack who had fallen and could not get up" but was really picking up John from the air port on Christmas Eve. I can't believe they surprised me again D: I AM SO GULLIBLE. Having him here was really wonderful. He's visiting his family right now and will be back later in the week. It was a really great Christmas present. Loving someone who lives across the country seems much more worth it when they randomly show up on your doorstep Christmas Eve. ♥

So today we went to my Aunt Terri's house and spent all evening with our drunken cousins and making fun of Uncle Jack who had no idea we had pretended he'd fallen and could not get up. Was goooood. Had a lovely evening with the family. They made us try every kind of drink ever, most of them horrible lol my drunken cousins. I love them! Then we went to visit Corey and his family which was nice too. We all agreed it did not feel like Christmas.

And sorry if I missed peoples calls today D: I didn't have it on me all night~ (Michiiiii, call me! We need to talk about you and Miika coming to visit)

But I really cannot complain, it was a good Christmas, regardless of it not feeling like it XD Seeing so many of my loved ones was so wonderful!

OH GOD SO BUSY. Past two weeks have been final projects/finals. I HAVE THREE TOMORROW. And I splitting headache from hell which is preventing the studying. FUCKfuckfuck my brain is THROBBING UUUGH. I am so frustrated right now.

Lesseeee. Nothing of much importance has happened lately. Other than I couldn't find my car in the GIANT mall parking after work lot for two hours. I was sobbing like a lil bitch when I found it. A family stopped walking and just STARED at me through my window as I clung to my steering wheel and cried. Lol I am so fucking lame. That was an emotional night in general. But Taco Bell made it better XD Had to wake up at 5am today to make sure I got to work on time. Floor sets are killer. I did mostly male mannequins today. I have never unbuttoned so many men's jeans in my life! Button flies are in now, guys XD I would know. I had to unbutton so many XD I had to dress the girl's mannequins in this UGLY ASS SHIT. Seriously, a Sinful shirt with a vinyl neck tie necklace with a slouchy purple hat? Really, Metropark? I wonder who decided that would be a good idea. If I ever saw someone wearing that I would laugh until I cried. But yeah, floorset went by very quickly, can't complain too much about it. Other than getting up at ass-o-clock in the morning after the TSO concert.

Speaking of which, the Trans Siberian Orchestra never ceases to amaze me. Seriously. So much good. Musical orgasms all around. Even after seeing them 5 years in a row, I have never been anything but enthralled by the show. Plus our seats were on the floor and so close! Sosososoooo goood. The new female violinist? I'm in love with her. Really. She was incredible. When she ran out into the crowd she jumped on a chair right next to us and played alsdfjasldjflasjfd. Makes me wish I could play electric violin/talented at any sort of musical instrument. And Steve Tyler (from Aerosmith) at the end? Amazing. Fuck, I love TSO so much *A*/~♥

Corset wearing has been interesting so far. My posture has improved. I have to sit and stand very straight. I am suddenly aware of my breathing! Plus I look skinny. I like it. Trying to make it a daily thing. We'll see. It works very well with sweaters. I thought it would be more obvious with t-shirts but it's not too bad. I need to get some more corsets. Cuz now I misplaced the one I've been wearing. Plus I want more anyway. Lulz. I can't wait to be able to work out/start eating better soon. College makes you think healthy food is poison. It's true.

There are three major theories on dreaming which are psychoanalytic, biological and cognitive.
Psychoanalytic/Psychodynamic View:

This is one of the oldest and most controversial views conceived by Freud. Freud proposed that dreams are “the royal road to the unconscious”. According to Freud, dreaming is a special state in which normally repressed and personally unacceptable desires rise to the surface of unconsciousness. The main purpose of dreams being wish fulfillment. Freud also sees dreams as being couched in symbols, most of which being sexual. A journey in a dream is a symbol for death, dancing or horseback riding is seen as sexual intercourse and a penis as a gun. Freud sees dreaming as disguising the forbidden unconscious needs as symbols, the dreamer avoids anxiety and remains asleep.

Biological View:
In contrast to the Freudian theory, biological (or activation-synthesis hypothesis theory) suggests that dreams are a by-product of random stimulation of brain cells during REM sleep. It is proposed that specific neurons in the brainstem fire spontaneously during REM sleep and then the cortex then struggles to “synthesize” or make sense out of this random stimulation by manufacturing dreams.

Cognitive View:
According to the cognitive, dreams are an extension of everyday life – a form of thinking during sleep. Rather than being mysterious messages from the unconscious or the result of random brain stimulation, dreams are simply another type of information processing. They help us sift and sort our everyday experiences and thoughts. The cognitive view sees dreams as a type of mental housecleaning to disk defragmentation on your computer.
